Pet Policy Mohawk Motel

The nightly pet fee is $ 6 per night. Please register all pets upon arriving.

If you bring your pet into any room without our knowledge and permission a cleaning fee of $100 will be charged to your credit card.

  1. Pets are allowed in designated rooms but ARE NOT ALLOWED on the beds, bedspreads, blankets or any of the furniture. If we will find animal hair in the bed an additional charge of $35 will apply.
  2. With few exceptions, THERE IS A LIMIT OF 2  PETS PER ROOM, depending on the size of the pets and the size of the room, and ONLY 1 PET IF IT IS AN EXTRA LARGE DOG SUCH AS A GREAT DANE OR NEWFOUNDLAND.
  3. PETS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE ROOMS
  4. PLEASE DON’T LET YOUR PET GO TO THE BATHROOM ON ANY OF OUR LANDSCAPING. WHENEVER AND WHEREVER YOU WALK YOUR PET, PLEASE PICK UP AFTER IT. We provide “doggie bags.” Please put waste in our outside dumpster or appropriate containers.
  5. PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOG ON A LEASH. Please do not let it loose outside of your room. This is for your pet's protection and for ours. This is to prevent any dog fights, someone being bitten or your pet being hit by a car.
  6. You are required to CONTROL NOISE made by your pet, so that it will not disturb other guests

 

  1. If there is ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE ROOM, OR EXTRA CLEANING REQUIRED, these costs will passed on to the pet owner. After departure, the room will be inspected and any damages will be placed on the guest's account.

 

IF ANY OF THESE RULES ARE BROKEN, GUESTS WILL BE ISSUED ONE WARNING.  IF IT CONTINUES, THE GUEST WILL BE REQUIRED TO PUT THE PETS IN A LOCAL KENNEL AT HIS/HER OWN EXPENSE.
